Y'all are mentioning some good songs there. I own a Phil Collins compilation myself. I never have understood the massive hate he inspires. lol

Stuff that I love but probably qualifies:

Milli Vanilli
Roxette (their entire catalogue!)
Kylie Minogue (most of her early stuff is pants!)

"Well, your Nobody called today
She hung-up when I asked her name
And I wonder: does she think she's being clever?
(clever... uh-huh)
Well, you can say Nobody's after you..
Fact is, what you say is true.
But I can love you like Nobody can.
... Even better"

heheheh that was one of my first 45's, and I still love it! cool

Not Horrid, but way over the top:

"Patches" -- Clarence Carter

and, come to think of it . . .

"Strokin'" -- Clarence Carter

Candy Shop by 50 Cent. The music sounds so Prince-like...that is until 50 starts rapping.I really wish someone would sample the music and write some song lyrics over it.

From RHINO...

...70s Party Killers

You're at home and your rager party is spiraling out of control before your very eyes. It's 3 a.m. and a strange cast of characters occupies your living room. You think to yourself, "Who are these people and how did they end up breakdancing on my coffee table?" It's way past your bedtime, and you gotta break this sucker up FAST. You grab that new Rhino CD off your shelf, and voila -- problem solved. '70s Party Killers, our new collection of the all-time "classic" pop singles that inexplicably were huge Top 5 hits. Eight of them got to #1! These cheesy standards by the Superstars of Schlock are guaranteed to clear the room in a hurry.

Tie A Yellow Ribbon Round The Ole Oak Tree - Dawn
The Night Chicago Died - Paper Lace
Billy, Don’t Be A Hero - Bo Donaldson & The Heywoods
(You’re) Having My Baby - Paul Anka with Odia Coates
Playground In My Mind - Clint Holmes
Feelings - Morris Albert
Sometimes When We Touch - Dan Hill
The Candy Man - Sammy Davis, Jr.
Afternoon Delight - Starland Vocal Band
Torn Between Two Lovers - Mary MacGregor
Escape (The Pina Colada Song) - Rupert Holmes
Muskrat Love - Captain & Tennille

Fess up!

I used to hate that one. Remember "Knock Three Times On The Ceiling"? I could kind of deal with that one.

Feelings - Morris Albert

I can still hear Carol Burnett as "Eunice" catterwalling to this one. lol

The Candy Man - Sammy Davis, Jr.

Cool as I thought Sammy was, I never liked this one.

Afternoon Delight - Starland Vocal Band

I like that one. lol

Muskrat Love - Captain & Tennille

That one's OK but I love the song "Love Will Keep Us Together".

Why are there so many songs about rainbows? .... whistle

I've heard enough songs from the Carpenters to know that they're much cooler than most give them credit for, though I still don't have an album.
