I've been hearing the album all over the place and she's so smart to have made it without breaks and no ballads. It's surprisingly good.

Music is my favorite. I hadnt' heard or really got into the rest of her music from the 00's. I like her stuff mostly from1984 to 1987.

Two of my mates refuse point-blank to like any of her new material. They'll hear the intro - I get my hopes up - and then it's "never as good as her 80's stuff".

I like a few of them, but honestly I just sit there and think "Are any of those as good as Spotlight or Over And Over?" Nope.

The thing I have with Madonna these days is that I don't love anything she does, but there's little I hate either - erm, with a couple of exceptions. 'Confessions...' especially. It's all just one bland blubber of stuff I sort of like but don't hate. She;s turned into Texas and The Corrs

Now, with Erotica, I'd rank that as one of her greatest albums. Ray Of Light is something I played out too much in the first year of release. It just sits there gathering dust these days, but I keep going back to Erotica.

I don't understand the anomosity her fans have towards Like A Virgin either. I think it's a mighty fine Pop album - the only track I dislike is 'Pretender'.

I'll still always buy everything Madonna does. It's a force of habit now though. I buy lots of music anyway, why not just get the latest Madge album/DVD to top up and keep the collection complete?

I go through phases with her. The other night I watched the "Confessions of Madonna" interview with Dermot O'Leary and just thought; "Bless, her, she seems really nice", but ergh, I just can't get into this latest album. I can't stop comparing it to Kylie's Light Years

What did you think of Dermot's interview? I thought he started really well - she seemed quite charmed by him and I love how happy she seems at the moment. It just went downhill when Dermot thought he'd try to 'psychoanalyse' her.

You could tell Madonna was thinking "What IS this bullshit?!".
