Today is James Brown Listnin Day. Ah, the family gatherings, the fireplaces aglow with warm embers, the snuggly feeling of being surrounded by those you love, and "Sex Machine" blasting from the speakers.
It's the day before Thanksgiving, and dammit, you GOTS to make it funky. Honestly, you don't need ANY James Brown records except LOVE POWER PEACE - live in France and the greatest thing ever recorded. Ever. And hey - it's appropriate for the holidays! 5 words: EIGHT MINUTES OF SEX MACHINE. Seriously, go find this. www.half.com always has them for cheep. The record blows my mind. Ain't It Funky Now - HO! SNAP! Turn It Loose! OH MOM! Happy T-Day to all my orgers. Hope you had a SAFE one, and you didn't jump up into a bigger dress size... although that wouldn't be a bad thing on some of yous... oh yeah, I seen you. You could use a little more.
