The founding members of Devoted Spirits are all alumni of Earth, Wind, and Fire. These musicians include lead guitarist/vocalist Sheldon Reynolds. Sheldon has toured and/or recorded with Millie Jackson, The Commodores, Pointer Sisters, Stephanie Mills, Paula Abdul and his tenure with Earth, Wind & Fire lasted 14 years, up until Reynolds joined Experience Hendrix, the family company of Jimi Hendrix, realizing yet another life-long dream of being involved in the musical legacy of the greatest guitarist of all-time. Sheldon is married to Janie Hendrix, sister of Jimi. Reynolds also produced the Hendrix tribute CD, "Power of Soul" which included performances by top artists such as Prince, Lenny Kravitz, Musiq, Carlos Santana, Robert Randolph & The Family Band, Sting, Chaka Khan, Sounds of Blackness, Earth, Wind & Fire and a host of music greats.
