ALBUM LEAF~~~~~ I think this is the first time I've seen their name on this site. I LOVE LOVE LOVE them ~ the most exquisitely painful and beautiful music ~ what little I've heard. Did you see them in California? How was the show? Impressive list Sassy!

i saw album leaf a few years ago. a-may-zing. a great, passionate night out! i was very salty because tristeza was just in chicago the other week but i was in the middle of finals and had to sell my tickets! tristeza is another project from the guy who is the album leaf (jimmy lavelle). the sound is a little less dramatic but no less incredible.

I've been fortunate to have begun attending her live shows since 'Under The Pink' so those are over a long period of time--and all in NYC/Long Island. I'm not big on traveling out of state to see people unlike you and Sassy. lol

See my first Tori show was for "Under the Pink" too. But I was dumb and missed out on everything from '98-'03.

I started seeing Prince when I was 17, so I've had many chances to catch him. Plus, I think I've seen him 6 times in Minneapolis now. eek

And no wonder you don't travel. There's no reason to when you live in NYC!

that's just it. my first year will be nothing but school. i've heard all the horror stories and a close friend of mine basically showed me first hand how your entire outside life stops during the first years. its a little more than intimidating but i've worked my ass off to get it so i'll have to skip any and all shows for the most part*.

Hell, I worked as an usher at Detroit's Fox Theatre, I've seen too many people to list. So I'll just list my favs.:

Prince (Like ya'll didn't expect him to be first on my list)
Culture Club (Good God, I love me some Boy George!)
Rick Braun (Whom I had a spotlight dance with in front of a packed house)
Brian McKnight (Whom tapped me on the shoulder and sang to me. Mmmmmm mmmm, that man can be my baby's daddy anyday!)
The Gap Band (With Charlie last name Wilson in leather pants, wooo hooo!)
Whodini (I got the group to autograph my t-shirt! Still have it, yeeaaa me!)
Stevie Wonder and George Clinton (Both were at free concerts in Hart Plaza, how could they not be on my list.)
