YES! personally,I don't really care about charts,but it's always fun to play a game of "I-told-you-so" when people doubt Madonna.Remember just yesterday,Ace was insisting that NONE of the songs on this album will reach the Top 10? Several weeks ago,VoicesCarry basically said the same thing.

Ah, but it failed her on AL, did it not? Some artists reach a point where they become out-of-touch with the record-buying public and/or their lyrical concerns become too complex for the majority of that demographic (which is heavily weighted with very young people). You may wanna re-think that statement."Hung Up" is a Number seven single in America right now (Number One in many other countries),and the video has been Number One on MTV's TRL (which caters mainly to the very young people that you mentioned) for nearly a week now.Seems to me that Madonna is having no problems connecting with the record-buying public.And I'm shocked that you are still insisting that "Hung Up" is too complex for the pop audience...lol...read the lyrics,it's not hard to understand or relate to. ...
