funny i always found this song anti-romantic..the lyrics basically in my mind convey a picture of a woman running away from love..or the hounds of love..in the song it basically tells us she been doing it for a long time..then one day she comes upon a guy(or the fox she found,that had caught by dogs) who she has sympathy over..becuase he was hurt before. after denying the fact she isnt in love..she kinda has other reason and throws her shoes in the lake(or saids fuck it..im going to be with it..i have no other choice)..its kinda like falling in love without having a choice. | |
