Talk 2 Me New York & Miami....Whatever happen to Freestyle?

Where the hell are the new Freestyle tracks when we need them the most?

And hell yeah, I miss The Cover Girls, Stevie B, Expose, Sweet Sensation, TKA, and Sa-Fire just as much as the rest of you freestyle fans.

But who are "the heirs" to freestyles legecy? Are there any new artists?

I love me some freestyle and still listen to it ocassionally. I thought Nina Sky were going to carry the freestyle torch but it doesn't appear that way, which is a shame...By the way, where are all of the artist you mentioned now??

I thought Nina Sky was going to be the heirs to the freestyle thrones too. But again, hip-hop/r&b is still their main focus.

Maybe my girl Nicole (of PCD) could being freestyle back when she goes solo! lol

I listened to all this music back in the day.... living in NYC..... especially Lisa Lisa, Cover Girls etc. ..

but I never heard it called Freestyle until a couple years ago when reading CD reviews? WTF???
To me Freestyle is a form of rap.....

This music was just a certaintype of dance club musici you'd heaer back then.

What's the deal??
