"Get Together"...as most seem to agree, it definitely has that early Madonna sound. but, does anyone think it sounds like something of the "Pre-Madonna" album? it even sounds like it was mixed and updated as other songs were on that disc.

think Debbie Gibson with a slight more mature edge meets early Madonna.
very 90's club/r&b/dance tyoe stuff. with the a couple sugary ballads. not cheesy at all, but as sweet as pop can get.

but her breakthrough album "Girl"


definitely should not be missed. somewhat of a rare find. many of her fans have not been able to locate it.
electro-pop-rock-dance. maybe her "Ray Of Light" check out the track: "Everybody Changes Underwater" think "Erotica"-esque.

Neon Nights is straight up club music. a bit heavier than Eurodance. Vocals i think can somewhat be compared to her sister on this album, but it's more like
the New York club version of "Fever" if you will. if you want to go all out dancing non-stop and burn up the dance floor...this is it. some stand out tracks:
"Put The Needle On It"
"Don't Wanna Lose This Feeling" (also has a "don't wanna lose this groove": vocals layed over Madonna's "Into The Groove" remix.)
"Creep"
"Who Do You Love Now?"
"Vibe" (song about having good [i]Vibrations) [/i]

a new album is due out in February. straight foward europop on this one i think, if the 1st 2 songs are any indication.
"You Won't Forget About Me" & "Perfection"

i think Dannii has yet to go below the surface on her albums, emotionally or lyrically as say her sister or Madonna go; but when the music's this fun, you forgive her.

I feel bad for Dannii in a way. She was the one who started out in music and then Kylie came along and stole her thunder. She'll always be known as Kylie's little sister. It's too bad cuz I think she's the better singer and now she's got better songs too. Hope she can keep it up with her next album.
