Lisa Loeb to look for mate on TV
Newly single singer to star in reality show

LOS ANGELES, California (Hollywood Reporter) -- E! Entertainment Television said Tuesday that it has greenlighted an unscripted series that will follow newly single singer-songwriter Lisa Loeb as she re-enters the dating world.

The eight-episode series, titled "#1 Single," will feature Loeb as she moves back to New York and starts dating again for the first time since college. The half-hour series is set to premiere in January.

"Lisa Loeb is smart, talented, quirky and endearing, with a genuinely engaging and relatable lifestyle," E! Networks senior FP programming development Lisa Berger said. "She is experiencing the same thing that many single professional people her age today are learning, which is how challenging it can be to find someone to share their hectic and sometimes complicated lives."

Meanwhile, the Grammy-nominated Loeb said she believes the show will be a way to "connect with more people on a larger scale."

"I decided to do this TV series because what I do as a musician and songwriter is connect to an audience, so why not take that to another level," Loeb said.

I think she's HOT. Seems like she'd have her pick of men. As her pal Chris Issac once said, "she's a real girly-girl". She and Dweezil Zappa (who also dated Sharon Stone at one time - his brother, Ahmet, who hosts that VHI But Can They Sing? Show, dated Rose McGowan).

I never thought she'd agree to a reality show - if she wants a date, all she has to do is call JesseDezz

I meant to say that she and Dweezil seemed like a perfect match - they had a pretty long-term relationship.

nothing wrong with Lisa Loeb's music. She's had some nice songs.

As for this dating show, I think she should bypass this idea and just marry me.
