ernie isley hendrix the most underrated guitar player in the world

it'such a shame that isley brothers guitar player ernie isley is almost nonexistant in best guitarists list.
how many guitar players even know he exists.
when i listen to his passionate soloing i think that i could listen to his solos and never get bored.
he have essencial hendrix part in him.

Ernie and Jimi probaly traded trick back in the early-mid 60's. Jimi was a part of the band back then, even recording some tracks with the Isleys.

Jimi taught ernie how to play that thing. hence u hear some James Marshall when he plays.

"ballad for the fallen soldier" on the "between the sheets" album has got to be among his most emotional performances.....i dont know if that song was about their father or not but it truly sounds like he's cryin thru his six string....

My knowledge of the Isleys is nowhere near what it should be(something I hope to fix in the near future), but i have Ernie's solo album from 1990 and I love it. Back to square one even got play on the rock stations around here when it came out

...hate to say it but if Ron gets locked up then maybe Ernie will put out a new solo joint.
