thought Kenny was going to get 600K this week? You CANNOT use the name of God, or religion, to justify acts of violence, to hurt, to hate, to discriminate- Madonna

456,539 is impressive but not quite 600K. I think Madonna can slip into number one with sales of about 300K but I have no idea.

it all depends on how carrie whatsherface from american idol pulls off. I don't really see that album topping the charts, but who knows. If she does, then the damn red states win again. I think her biggest competition might be another country act....Big And Rich. I never heard of them but I just have an idea there are a whole lot of truckers that listen to them and they'll be a number one and everyone will be like..."who the hell are they? They beat Madonna?" And that will be the headline, too.

I bought it for the hype and the fact that I liked Rubin's work with Johnny Cash. I found the deluxe edition (with two bonus tracks and a digipack) for only $9.99 at Kmart. I think they made a mistake!

From what I have heard of the albu, it's minimalist and dark, like many of the Cash/Rubin collobrations. "Cherry, Cherry" it is not! [Edited 11/17/05 14:41pm]
