Right now I'm listening to the album. I've already heard half of it. I like but much like AL, the lyrics aren't thrilling me and as full songs, they don't grab me. She's almost too depededent on the great beats, something sort of lacking in AL. But especially "Future Lovers"...Madonna is better than that! It's a good album but isn't knocking me out yet.

It left the top 100 because the radio edit was removed. This morning the album version appeared in the 70's but has already moved up to # 24. It should be in the top ten in no time.

So it seems that the tracked verison is more popular.

The "Hung Up" album verison (which is far better than the radio edit) is #19 and I'm sure going up. Now frankly, I'm sure the wizards at Billboard will note that the album verison is now selling well as on Itunes and is different from the radio verison....as if they are two different songs. So I'm not sure that "Hung Up" will be climbing the charts with the album this week.

I've been waiting for a great Madonna album since "Bedtime Stories". They all have their faults, but right now I might rank COAD above AL but maybe not above "Music". Both AL and COAD feel as if something is missing...it's as if she needs to finish writing the songs. Then again, this is my first impression.

Bascially she was doin real good on itunes but i heard someone say that everyone who preordered the album automatically added to hung up single download i dont know if its true




but on airplay she has been only static the whole week with 17mil+ audience
but u only need 500 downloads to equal 1mil audience.


But she isnt even in top 10 on itunes so next week i suspect she will not be in the top 30

Yeah, it's fine. I like plenty of it. But it's something I would rather dance to than put on and listen to. It's the same complaint people have about techno. It's great at a rave or club, but not so great for other listening. That's half of my problem with the new album and artists like Kylie in general.
