And while "Threatened" was catchy..the Thriller revisited theme worked well Ghosts and Is It Scary..but enough is enough. Okay sorry for the Invincible rant..I just felt like it had to be said!

That song I think was meant for the BOD album.

It was so obvious a carbon copy of Thriller though..I mean come on!

I believe for much of the '90s Prince's biggest problem was his lack of an editor..someone to tell the man enough is enough...For every Gold album there was a Symbol album (Yeah i liked "7," but besides that and few other joints...what else???)...It's been said countless of times, but the Emapncipation album (which is a bloated, yet underrated album) would have ranked among his best work if someone in his crew told him to drop 10 tracks...But if that's Prince's worst problem, most artists could only wish for such a headache..

As for MJ, I think his '90s output, besides Dangerous (which is a better album than most people think), has been anywhere from spotty to dismal..."Stranger In Moscow" goes down as his most adult and complex work of that decade...I think he spent most of that decade trying to prove he was the King Of Pop instead of letting the music speak for itself...But in all fairness, the man simply had too much to live up to after Thriller...It would have been best if he went about the rest of his career just making music on his own terms instead of living up to the hype...

I agree..however I rank "HIStory Disc 2" and "Blood On The Dance Floor" (the 5 new tracks) as some of Michael's best work to date. I think those songs put together make up Michael's most interesting and best music. I think "Invincible" was trying way to hard to please the kids who like music like Nsync.
