As I have been an admirer of their music since almost the beginning cuzza my eldest sister, the U2 I love most is the early U2.

They were able to hold my attention up to Achtung Baby, which I love dearly, as it is them reaching out for something new, but lost me with Zooropa, which was overstretching, in my eyes.

I kind of liked the idea of their last album, but am missing the part that kept me glued to my room back in the day; the passion. I am sure U2, like Prince, has now moved into old men-mode, like Kate Bush has moved into I'm A Momma-mode. Still GREAT, but missing that one thing that made them special in the early days.

To me, pinacle U2 these days, are songs like Trash, Trampoline And The Party Girl (studio), Alex Descends Into Hell For A Bottle Of Milk / Korova 1 and songs like Seconds.

I like it when they keep it a bit dark, not too hard and exciting, like Alex Descends.

Remixes aren't really B-Sides, are they? I mean, aren't B-Sides non-album tracks, like on Prince's The B-Sides? But on U2's The B-Sides, there sure is an awful lot of remixes included.
