REM

Have my fingers crossed that it's a break from the sound of their last 3 albums. I can't take any more mellow, mid-tempo, Beach-Boys influenced stuff from REM. I miss the jangle, I miss the melancholy, I miss the rock. Please give it back, Stipey!

Moonie's tastes can be strange sometimes. He thinks the Beatles are the worst group ever.

The NE crew should be well represented in 06:
Bobby Brown - either the cd or the dvd set of Being Bobby Brown
Ralph Tresvant - his single will be released in January

i'd also be very happy if bjork put out a proper pop album next year...even if it's along the lines of vespertine...i miss dancing to bjork. sigh

My wish as well but not a peep yet on her site. About two nights ago I dreamt she had another baby.

She just released the Medulla Videos...yesterday I think. I think Medulla put a big strain on many of her fans who followed her through the 2 before that one.

New Edie Brickell (they are reworking her site...so I assume that's what's going on) and I PROMISE to see her in concert.

"Worst" is a much different description than "least favorite". They're not my least favorite, although they would make my bottom 20 of all time. That doesn't mean I think they are among the 20 worst, though.

Gangsta told me about a Tricky project in the works a couple years ago ~ any news on that? I'd love to hear something in the Nearly God, Maxinquaye, Pre~Milennium Tension vein. Wasn't it going to be called Nearly Goddesses?

I haven't really been following Tricky's latest news....oh my god that would be pretty awesome to have Portishead, Massive Attack and Tricky release something in the same year. smile The combination of Nearly God and Maxinquaye would be cool with me.
