IT'S F. Brilliant! I never expected it to be such a great album. It flow like a river and it's almost impossible not to tap your feet or shake your ass to it! Everybody I showed it to, has loved it! Also I would love to add that it's not a kylie-esque album (I'm a K-junkie and know when I see a Kylie imitator) and COAD has messages! The lyrics really are unbearable. But Jump's simpleness is what makes is so great, and is what will make it huge with folks who are tired of her recent religious leaning. It's a real throwback to her old sound--highly danceable, catchy, postive, fun. You can be sure it'll be a single...I'm betting the next one. Some observations/opinions about the album...
***Is anyone digging the song "Let It Will Be"? I think it's really,really catchy.Very 80s sounding,but the melody reminds me of the 1976 Blue Oyster Cult hit "Don't Fear The Reaper". ***I think "I Love New York" was intended as some kind of joke.I mean,we all know Madonna can't be serious...those lyrics are insane! I'm thinking that she added this song for a little comic relief. ***You know what's cool about "Push"? The music is being played backwards! The music is "reversed" while Madonna is singing about "pushing" ahead.It's such a cool sound...I like it! ***Although it will probably never become a single,I predict that "Isaac" will become a new Madonna classic.On the Madonna message boards and fansites,this song is getting an overwhelmingly positive response. | |

a sidenote: in a Billboard interview (November 7),Madonna says that she was gonna name this song "Fear Of Flying"... it's about letting go and people who are afraid to fly obviously have control issues.We all have fears in many areas of our lives.Some people can't commit to relationships.The song is about tackling all of that."Will you sacrifice your comfort?
