This can't possibly be true.They were on ABC IN concert & Mike Douglas in 1974 & the Midnight Special in 1975.

yeppers! the quality isn't brilliant, but it's certainly watchable...except for the KISS parts, which were all edited out.

I have it on VHS but I watched it Sunday night. Good quality too. I remember when it originally aired. This is my favorite period of KISS, the Destroyer period 76-early 77. Love both albums with the Destroyer costumes, "Destroyer" and "Rock and Roll Over". The songs performed on the Paul Lynde show were "King Of The Night Time World" (co-written by my friend Kim Fowley) and "Beth". Man, KISS RULED ! From late 1975 to late 1978, KISS was huge.

i love the end when florence henderson is singing her disco song and KISS is sitting in a balcony looking down at her disapprovingly. lol

Nah, no weird stories. Pretty basic, really. He said that they were very business, almost non- rock, in attitude. Especially Gene and Paul.
