D'Angelo - Voodoo, the next one and the web How great is Voodoo? I love the sound of it, really sensual. It's not so much the individual songs obiously, but the whole that makes a great listen. The name of the record perfectly captures the feel of it, IMO.
And what's up with his new one? Any progress? I searched around a little on the web but there really isn't much about him. Does anyone know any sites (except okayplayer, of course)? Maybe with outtakes and/or live stuff?

Okayplayer is where the cult is, and as close as you will get - that is as close as ?love wants you to get, hehe.
Either that, or try to mingle with industry-people over at J, I think (they bought his contract off of Virgin).

Probably my second favorite forum, next to the org. Yeah, same here. Though it has a crappy lay-out. And people are typing cryptically - but that is part of the appeal.

But from what I can tell D'Angelo's site over there hasn't been updated in forever.

Cinistercee and myself are talking about the message boards that are on the Okayplayer website.
It is true that D's website hasn't been updated in about two or three years; all the talking is done on the boards. Every ounce of news emanates from the few people in the know that like to play mindgames with the posters on the boards (direct link).
