Are all you people insane? How can you compare Ashley Simpson to Milli Vanilli. First of all I'll preface this by saying I think Ashley Simpson is cute and don't have anything against her music. The point though is Milli Vanilli didn't sing at all, not even on the records. | |

I wouldn't compare Ashlee Simpson and Milli Vanilli for a number of reasons. For one, Ashlee Simpson isn't lip syncing to someone else's vocals but to her own, horrible voice. For another, Milli Vanilli were much better looking than Ashlee, who resembles Eminem in a wig, imo. And as silly as some of those late '80s dance moves were, nothing MV did looked as horrible as that boot scootin' boogie thing Asslee did on SNL. And finally, Milli Vanilli's hits were danceable and had catchy melodies and a good beat (although Girl I'm Gonna Miss You was a tad bland), while I find Ashlee Simpson's music to be excruciating. | |
