"Feel Good Inc" by Gorillaz----why didn't you guys tell me about this great song?

Heard this song at a nightclub on Saturday night, and it's now my new favorite song! Am I late? Has this song been out for awhile?? I don't anything about the band, but I'm thinking about buying their CD.

Am I the only one who's digging this track? music

No you aren't. It's been out a couple of months but it's still great. It's funky without even trying to be. I love it, I think it's better with a good pair of headphones. music
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

your defiently late, its been out for months now. but i agree it is really great, one of the best songs this year. there new song DARE is really great too, although when i first heard it i didnt like it but it grows on you. ive heard some songs from there album and their pretty good. they came out with a cd about 4 years ago, and although ive never heard the whole thing, the singles were really good. its a cartoon band made of gorilla/human looking people, i think damon albarn from blur created them and came up with the idea. im very surprised youve never heard of them before, although i guess it depends what country you come from, but there pretty big here in australia.

"Feel Good Inc." is fantastic! thumbs up!

I was not really a fan of Gorillaz before although I loved the 2 singles from their first album. I took a chance and bought Demon Days (from which "Feel Good Inc." comes) and I fell in love. It remains my favorite album of 2005, ahead of new albums by already established favorite artists like Franz Ferdinand, Depeche Mode and New Order. Demon Days is a bit of a concept album depicting the way of life in a post-9/11 world. It is at once paranoid, sinister, inviting and beautiful. Pick it up!

It's a great song. Reminds me of a Prince song, actually, especially the background synths.

Yeah you're right. I'm listening to it now and "Demon Days" is pretty cool as well as "Don't Get Lost in Heaven".

The first album is decent as well. Many think it's better, although Demon Days gets more critical acclaim. I like the first album- it's very cool. "Clint Eastwood" may be their best song. The video was revolutionary. However, the first album seems to be merely "cool" and doesn't seem to have the cohesion or the message of Demon Days.

I LOVE Gorillas. "Feel Good Inc." is one of the songs often on repeat in my car. I love the whole album, but I like their first one, Gorillaz, better.

I must say I was addicted to this song too a little while back. I think the gorillaz first album is better than demon days, but feel good inc. is probably their best overall song.

I seen the Gorillaz out on tour for the 1st cd, Dan the Automator opened. I've been a core Blur fan since the 1st cd and I have followed Damon (Blur, Gorillaz) and Graham Coxons (guitaist for Blur) work post Blur. The show itself was amazing, tons of screens with animation, lots of lights. Very Wild! They are working on another tour but it will take them a couple years to get the technology for the Gorillaz to be in 3d.

I think the 1st cd is good but the second one is just more polish. Outstanding revolutionary idea a cartoon band.. Gorillaz.

If you need any hard to find Blur or Graham stuff, send me an orgnote.

I've never heard it. How does the song sound? I mean, is it retro funk, house, disco, or a combination of styles?

It's very retro-funky,sounding like it's from the early 80s.On their official site, one of the bandmembers describes it as "part "Billie Jean",part Rockwell" and that kinda sums it up.The lead singer's vocals sound like a sample from an old 70s hit,but I don't think it is.The song also includes a rap from De La Soul, which gives it a "modern" feel.I love the drums and the bass.I think you would dig this track.

It was sounding good till you mentioned the damn rap part. I guess it's OK as long as it's only a small rap part. lol
