I actually stayed in just to watch it. But then my friend called me and decided to endlessly chat with me like he always does. So I caught most of it. It was pretty cool. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

I forgot it was on and only saw the last 45 minutes or so. It was soo good.
I almost cried. Seriously. There is something about Madonna that is very powerful and moving. I think she is such a sweet person, as is evidenced by her emotions toward her staff. She is also very strong and wise, the quinessential mother figure ...even though she grew up without one. She's like a mama to all those around them, giving them insightful advice and compliments. She's one of the most self-possessed artists pop culture has ever known. My favorite parts were seeing her with Lourdes and Rocco. Adorable. That almost made me cry too. Yes, because Lourdes is so much Madonna's mirror. I even think she talks and expresses herself like her mom. Eerie to see. I wonder if Madonna just sits and watches her sometimes, amazed. As for Rocco, he could use a visit form SuperNanny.

I've been a Madonna Fan as long as I've been a Prince Fan.
I love them both equally...but there is something about Madge that gets me oooberly (is that a word?) excited! She's gutsy and in charge...very outspoken and full of love...this documentary, almost tops "Truth or Dare"...its definitely an eye-opening experience...because she touched alot of places in me that she did back in 1991 with "Truth or Dare". The only thing I didn't like was the dancers didn't seem to have as much (as much character as the dancers from the blonde ambition) while a few did, others lacked camera time. Madonna isn't the club kid no more...she still has fun and dances her ass off...but as a die-hard fan. I was happy to see this piece of work...because it shows the growth and a side of maddy that we haven't seen. A mother, wife, and business woman who hasn't changed much, but definitely grew spiritually and still has it! I'm trying to find the right words...hmmmm...to say: "I'm going to tell you a secret" was a continuation to Madonna -all grown up! Because at 47 years old, it appears maddy was just 22 years old yesterday and now an adult woman today and mom of 2! It sure doesn't seem like that much time has past! Wow...Madonna...I LOVE YOU AND I CAN'T WAIT FOR THE ALBUM AND TOUR! Thank you once again for the great memories...this film, definitely took me there.

She even seemed to acknowledge that fact in the documentary when she apologized for not being able to hang out with the crew as much as she would've liked. I thought that part was sweet but everyone seemed to understand. I think she really looks after her dancers, musicians and staff.

Caught the last hour of it Friday night--I've GOT to see the first hour, I'd really like to see the dancer try-outs and stuff.
--Lola's French kicks ASS, it's totally fluent, must have a great tutor. --While Lourdes is all Madonna, Rocco is all Guy. Rocco was cracking me up, the way he was laughing maniacally at Lola's jokes and then with the sword. Total little boy. And Madonna's got him trained: in the hotel room, as they're rolling around on the bed, Maddy asks him, "who's the Queen, Rocco?" and he promptly replies, "YOU are, YOu are". --Madonna has done a lot of growing up, and I love her realization that she has to be careful what she puts out there (words, actions). Yet, she hasn't lost her humor and still swears and stuff.

I can't understand why they've not organised any european showings of this film. Maybe they're trying to treat it like a proper film and release it over here when Madonna is over here prommoting the album. Perhaps they'll give it a full premier.
I have to say i thought the 10 min preview was excellent. madonna is different but in so many ways she's just the same. I hope the DVD comes before xmas, it would make it the best couple of madonna months ever, New album and new docu-DVD. Also regarding the tour DVD, she mentioned in Attitude magazine that she has to wait a certain amount of time after the documentary until she can release a full concert DVD, so expect it sometime around 2030.

I forgot it was on but was lucky to catch it from the beginning. It definitely reignited my love for her--not that I ever stopped it's just that sometimes it goes a little dormant. Her kids are adorable. I loved when Lourdes was talking about the English Roses and Rocco was trying to shut her up. The part with her in Dublin got me a little misty. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

I did At one point, you and your brother are jumping up and down (I think it is during "Beautiful Stranger"?). We were basically jumping up and down throughout the whole show. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

I got to see prolly half of this doc over the weekend (with Madartista and Anx, FUN!)
I had to get up though (while they finished watching it) and do some cooking, but I liked what I saw. The only negative thing I can say, is the snibbet of "I Love New York" that was played... I was all "ummm, Madonna just used the word 'dork' in a song. My faith in the new album has just been knocked down about 10 degrees"
