jermaine's anti Michael song "word the badd" controversy This is old news (1989?) I know, but if you never heard of it's something to read. Ol' Jermaine hasn't been doing too well every since.
The story behind the song http://www.mjcafe.net/the...faq/c8.htm the original lyrics http://www.expage.com/wttblyr The released watered down lyrics http://www.19.5degs.com/l...dd!!/14086

It was 1991. Anyway, to hell with their fighting at the time, I rather like the song.

I understand Jermaine's frustration at the time and he was to be right after all. During the trial, who supported Michael? His family. And after the trial Michael has become buddies with Jermaine's connections in Bahrain. [Edited 10/27/05 11:20am]

The book written by Jermaine's ex-wife Margaret is rather interesting. She was with him at the time and she shed quite a bit of light over the situation. Jermaine was going around pretending that he was just as talented as Michael and that his success was just down to luck. All that "it could have been me" bollocks. But Michael seemingly deliberately hired LA Reid and Babyface to work on tracks for Dangerous (that never even got used) just to spite Jermaine who was working with them first.

So maybe that Jones guy was right about Michael sabotaging his siblings, at least Jermain's, carrier(s) [Edited 10/27/05 13:15pm]

That wasn't sabotage, it was cheeky Jermaine was a wife-beating delusional prick at that time anyway That Margaret Maldonado seems to really hate him back when she wrote all that stuff.
