70's Soft Rock Jam of the Day - Have you ever been Mellow? I love this song. And apparently can't get it out of my head.

Agreed. When I was a kid, Olivia, Donna, Yvonne and Stevie Nicks were THE shit to me. I had mad crushes on them. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

This is one of her early greats! I love ONJ, and not in a cheesy way. I think hers was one of the finest pop voices of the 70s. | |

Where is the soft-rock these days? Where's the next Fleetwood Mac?
Norah Jones is okay but her "little girl lost, smoking 40 Camels a day" voice gets on my tits after a while. Katie Melua is okay but the singing-flat gimmick soon wears thin. Where is k.d. these days? She could knock out a soft-rock album in her sleep. What happened to Madonna's Carpenters-esque moments? 'Rain', 'Crazy For You', 'I'll Remember', 'Take A Bow'... | |
