For all you old skool hip hop heads.......

You need to check out Distortion by Rev Run! It's wicked. It sounds like old skool run dmc. Old skool beats with hard rock guitar. The shit is bangin!

I heard the song that sampled Joan Jett, it was ok, lyrically I'm not feelin it though.

The sample is hot and the whole album is more or less like that rap rock style but not in a limp bizkit kind of way. lyrics may not be great but it rocks!

It is incredibly short. Around 26 minutes! Some people are saying it's more like an EP than an album.

One thing I like about this cd is that it was produced by just one person and not 20 people like most cd's today. People complain that his rapping style sounds old skool but that's the whole point. Plus how silly would he look if he tried to come off like 5o Cent. Everyone would see right through him.
