Yeah sure, why not lol i dont do threads for results, but i expected maybe a few for this one? Oh well, maybe my constant lil' jibes at stevie and jay kay (the watered down 70's stevie clone) just got on peoples nerves.

No, there's enough "shit" out already. lol

Critics agree that it's one of the best pop songs of the past 10 years.

True its a great pop song (though i hate it), but me thinks the video may have something to do with the critics. Mags like Q love kylie for reasons beyond me? Her arse perhaps?

If a good looking pin up would put out a pop tune (ie jeremy jordan), then guess what, critics label it as nothing more then girl cheese fodder. I bet critics would not even attempt to hear a song like "wannagirl".

Pop music can come from obscure names aswell. But critics tend to only list obvious pop acts like madonna, prince, jacko as they are still around. Sad.....

when you have Jeremy Jordan and Joey Lawrence listed, you don't need to be giving advice.

U got an attitude problem. lol Those songs were well produced and not too glossy. Maybe its the newjack leanings those songs have, but those 2 in particular got a naff image so people just want to forget about them

i got witnesses that say they are good.

I see ur a fan of madge. No wonder we argue. I dont get her at all. As much as i love early 90's pop music, madonna ain't on that list. Critics need to get off her jock too.

"I Want It That Way" by the Backstreet Boys is pop perfection.

Also "Hash Pipe" by Weezer (or any single off of the Blue Album for that matter) is a great pop tune.

Creep by Radiohead has to be on that list.

Also to be considered imho:
The Seed 2.0 by The Roots (or Pussy Galore if just album tracks are allowed...)

And the best pop song (ever), still imho, is Alphabet Street.
