I haven't been this excited for a Madonna album since Ray of Light. Music turned out to be a big letdown for me, and American Life was a pleasant suprise considering how much I hate the title track, but it is still flawed. I can't wait much longer for this album! Good God! It's a love/hate thing with me and Madonna.
OK...first off...I do like the song...it's a fun, catchy pop song. BUT, what irks me are the lame lyrics, "ring, ring,ring goes the telephone, the lights are on but there's no one home." Come on man, she's pushing 50 and this is the best she can come up with? I know it's a dance song and what not but she's done dance music with a little more depth than this. Either way. I can't wait for the album.
