Regina Belle's latest "Lazy Afternoon" got alot of rave reviews and excited reaction from the fans and quite storm radios alike. Really a cool listen, you should pick it up Rhonda. As for Miki? Last I heard was that she's recording an acoustic jazz album(backed by only a trio of Herbie Hencock, Stanley Clarke and Lenny White). I don't know what happend,,,esp Miki is the one who should stay true to jazz coz thats whats in her blood IMHO Listening to Kiss Of A Stranger

I hope the album's a winner, and I hope she finds her footing back in the business.

She was really struggling.
Appearing in all these ghetto ass plays, not to mention being phyiscally dominated by her 1st husband(4got his name). He used to whip her ass like she was a punching bag.

Great News! Hearing this was like a breath of fresh air. I say bring all of what I call "real singers" back.
I will be waiting with bells on. I am convinced Beyonce's career would not be where it is, if she had dark skin.

I saw her open for Atlantic STar and Keith Sweat a few months ago..... I mainly went to see her! SHe sang like4 songs to tracks (her old ones).... she said something like she was trying to get an album together so this is cool. I stayed for AS which was good but left before Ketih came out

To be honest the only thing I know by her is her rendition of do me baby. is she mostly a slow jam type artist?

Well, her 2 biggest hits were slow jams: Do Me Baby aand Do you still love me? Which sounds very similar. Her other hit was "Love Changes" a duet with Kashif that was on her 2nd album and one of his too. BUt she has some up tempo songs that are good...best known one was "Fool's Paradise" on the 1st album. THe 2nd album had a upteomp song called "Good Love" which was ok. I actually like hte 1st album the best...has some faster songs that were never hits but the whole album is good. The 2nd album has some power ballads and some New Jill Swing type stuff I guesss is what I"d call it. DOnt' know if they're out on CD. I connected my turntable to my computer and made MP3s for my iPod. I"d definitely get her 1st ablum before the 2nd. THere was 3rd too I think but I never heard it.
