Damn, now you two have got me thinking about my top 25 Tori songs. This will take some serious consideration. Maybe even more than it took to come up with my favorite songs of all time list.

I haven't ever ranked my favorites, but here are some of mine, in no particular order:
Heal the Pain--George Michael You Send Me--Sam Cooke 17 Days--Prince Just Because--Lloyd Price Supersonic--JJ Fad You Don't Own Me--Leslie Gore Forever in My Life--Prince What it Feels Like (For a Girl)--Madonna It's Your Thing--Salt n Pepa A Love Bizarre--Sheila E. Superstitious--Stevie Wonder Flashlight--Pfunk Good Cop, Bad Cop--Everything But the Girl Tears of a Clown--Smokey Robinson/Miracles Crusin'--Smokey & Miracles Die Without You--PM Dawn Been Caught Stealing--Jane's Addiction Comfortably Numb--Pink Floyd Norwegian Wood--The Beatles additions edit [Edited 11/1/05 18:45pm] The check. The string he dropped. The Mona Lisa. The musical notes taken out of a hat. The glass. The toy shotgun painting. The things he found. Therefore, everything seen–every object, that is, plus the process of looking at it–is a Duchamp.

KLF Sorry! Oh, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with liking that song. 3:00 am and What Time is Love were pretty snappy singles, and I think that song they did with Tammy Wynette is probably the weirdest US top forty hit I’ve ever heard. Unless O Superman was a hit in the US? Nope, I just looked …It must have been in the UK only where that song charted. And really, even coming from a country renowned for its eccentrics and misanthropes, Bill Drummond and Jim Cauty were (probably still are) a couple of pretty seriously weird guys. http://www.lysator.liu.se...s1992.html

I'm having a hard time making sense of my Bowie list so I'll just pick one favorite off of each album or if it's a non-album song, I'll include it with whichever year's appropriate.
'69 - Space Oddity '70 - The Supermen '71 - Life On Mars? '72 - Soul Love '73 - Time '74 - Sweet Thing/Candidate '75 - Win '76 - Word on a Wing '77 - Be My Wife '78 - "Heroes" (cheating on the year here) '79 - Red Money '80 - Teenage Wildlife '81 - Under Pressure ...the rest of the 80's wouldn't compete with my favorite stuff from the 70's and 90's... '91 - You Belong in Rock 'N' Roll '92 - Real Cool World '93 - The Wedding Song '94 - Dead Against It (cheating again) '95 - Strangers When We Meet '96 - Telling Lies '97 - The Last Thing You Should Do '99 - Thursday's Child '01 - Conversation Piece '02 - Heathen (The Rays) '03 - Bring Me The Disco King '04 - Isn't It Evening (The Revolutionary)

The Supermen I also love the live version that's included on 'Aladdin Sane 30th...' Conversation Piece Though I prefer the original '70 version! I could easily pick 100 Bowie songs that I think are absolutely perfect, so it gets hard for me to do a proper list. Workin' on U2 now.
