I think you're pretty off-base as well. She and WB did have problems for a time, but everything's been resolved and the amount of work they're putting into her upcoming album seems to indicate that they're giving her damn-near royal treatment.

It was when THE GOLD EXPERIENCE was out and they played the '95 'Love 4 One Another'...that whole evening was dedicated to Prince and the NPG as he 'took over' VH1 and was controlling the panals. '95 was probably the last year Prince was very visible on VH1...later that year he did the VH1/Vouge Fashion Awards were he performed 'P Control'....

WBR is bending over backwards to promote the hell out of this record, and i'm sure they would have done the samething for Prince had he been willing to uphold his end of the contract. In 95 he was probably upset that Madonna was getting more support for her greatest ballads collection than he was getting for The Gold Expereince. WB was willing to throw money at Madonna because she was willing to do things their way. That's why she got better videos and better press. Don't hate her cause she's beautiful.

She has alot to do with them she is producer of everytrack and Excutive Producer of the album. Everything has to meet her standards to appear on the album. Yes she relies on others help... but that is a strength not a weakness. Everyone she works with say she listens to their ideas and makes them work in the pop world. She writes the hooks and most of the melodies. along with the lyrics and steers the album in the direction she wants to go. She isn't a puppet or a push over.

The only people who don't talk are Patrick Leonnard, because of their close personal relationship and Steven Bray, because he is an ex.


Because she doesn't record alone doesn't make her any less. that's a high standard and few do it. even Prince doesn't do it all that well all the time. it's good to have fresh ideas and differnt points of view it gives new life to an artist to have new experiences influence the work.

Prince is still mad that Madonna walked on Grafitti Bridge set and said "this film is crap"

Prince should have said "Oh yea? Well, bitch you made Shanghai Surprise and I can see the future and you are gonna make a heap of bullshit movies to come"

and then Madonna would shoot back "But at least i wasnt on this film"



I think prince gets mad when he sees people become stars who have marginal talent.
