go to some of the MJ boards, some of the brit fans are following him all over town. disbelief

Their really organized about it.
[Edited 10/9/05 13:50pm]

It's the freaky "new" fans who have never seen him before who are the scary ones. A couple of the stalker-type "veteran" fans who everyone knows do ruin it with their little "contacts" and secret-keeping about what they know about his schedule.

We were taking the piss out of most of that lot all day.

Me? I've been a fan for nearly 20 years but the stalker "veterans" are the ones that don't even hold down proper jobs and just work at dead end places purely to get funds to follow him around the world. They 've met him 100 times but still act mad as if it's their first time, grabbing him at every opportunity. Ugh, Waldo(Justin) in all those pics at the car park is one of the worst. It's all a competition to get up on top and say "look at me, look where I am". Bloody "Super-fans". Sad sad individuals. The guy is 37 and has only just got his first decent job in his life.

The "new" fans are the ones that seem to burst out into screams whenever a bloody curtain moves at a hotel window despite having been told his rooms weren't even on the same side of the building. The ones that start crying whenever his car drives past dead The ones that start singing MJ songs outside all day but only seem to have a selection of 5 to sing because they don't know all the words to any others.

It was only about 3 years ago that I ever even tried to associate with any of that scene. I just stand there with my group of sane friends taking the piss out of them all. Nearly got beaten up by some heifer teenage saddo today lol

lol Once again, JB was the first black artist responsible for this accomplishment. wink

Yea I know what JB did and he lost alot as well, probably a conspiracy, but you gotta admit MJ took it to the next level.

and MJ has a better voice than Stevie imo. Well... as I wrote above, the appreciation of a voice is always a matter of opinion. But to claim that MJ has a better voice than Stevie ... ouch!

As child, I believe Michael had a better voice. Stevie is more soulful in music and life, but even as adults I perfer MJ over stevie.

Take these clips from M25, who sounds better to you? I think Mike is better...

Stevie - http://media.putfile.com/stevie
Michael - http://media.putfile.com/mj25

Thank you very much for contributing two incredible mediafiles. As much as I love Michael, he is perhaps my number 1 favorite, I have to say Stevie here. Stevie's vocals is so flawless, he never does one song the same way and he he never misses anything. His voice is like a saxophone to me. He can bend, improvise, whale, make beatiful runs with accurcy. Michael could have been this great vocally if he'd follow the path from the J5 days. Listen to Who's loving you or All I do is think of you, but somewhere he got a little bit coward IMO. I don't know where and when it happend but already in the late Jacksons era he started doing his hee-hees and vocal runs at the same place in a song every concert.

It`s not about who was born first. MJ lacks the drive and ambition of a James Brown. The reason why JB was so innovative is because he was determined to work, work, work. He took music extremely seriously and still does.

Someone who´s worked since 5 years old has sure been working way to hardly. I think by now MJ has already done more work than any of us will ever do. If he retired today completely - than he would deserve it.

There is a difference between your own determination/ambition and being driven to work by an overambitious father. Joe Jackson has ruined it for Michael. Besides, the "hardest working man in showbusiness" is someone else. Someone, who has at his heyday performed on 320 days a year/up to six (!) shows a day and who has released more than 200 singles and more than 100 albums.

Every time new pics get posted of MJ, all his zombie fans come in with the comments of "He looks great!" or "Aww he's so cute here."

The guy's a goblin. He's uglier than a dog's ass.

usually im one of the ones that says he looks good, i thought he looked great during the trial, but i agree now, he doesnt look very good here, hes starting to look like he did just before the trial began, for some reason i thought michael just looked a hell of a lot better at the trial, his nose looked bigger, most of the time the wigs were good, his make up was nice, but now i dont know, he just has the 'weird' look back, although i dont think he looks as ugly as you described

I think its silly make this an America vs the world view of Mj. MJ MADE himself a product. Michael Jackson has made his own bed and you can't get mad at us for making this fool lie in it.

He's mentally ill. Why is it cool to call him a fool? If you see someone with anorexia do you make fun of them too for being a fool and thinking they're still too fat?

Oh, you've diagnosed Mj with a mental illness? I didn't state Mj is mentally ill and then call him a fool so your analogy doesn't work.

I think he has some issues....and does foolish things that are not necessarily in correlation with is issues...so therefore...RIGHT now, he's a damn fool.

you always find a way to be insulting...lol

its your best quality...I think..smile

I don't think he's 'sick'....I think he needs therapy...but he isn't "sick" per se. Michael is narcissitic and may suffer from that disorder and probably a couple of others BUT Michael is able to make decisions. He is able to know what is right and wrong. Once you get to the point when you're unable to understand fully what is right and wrong...then I'd call you "sick" as YOU put it.

I've had clients with multiple mental disorders and they know right from wrong and have done FOOLISH things and were told they were doing foolish things. Hell I think I told one client, "stop being a fool", when she was going back and forth with her crazy ass boyfriend and she is bipolar and schizophrenic.

but...some intelligence is required.....you're right.

I know what you mean, but MJ hasn´t finished working after his father stopped managing him, which I guess means that it wasn´t just his father´s ambitions driving him.

Ellie, lucky you!

oh why do all the Mj threads turn into that "he needs a therapy" or "he looks terribly " crap? It´s tiring. To all of you guys who think he´s ugly why do you bother clicking on a topic which clearly is only about MJ pictures and than bother us with your insulting comments?

Since Michael grew up and Joe Jackson lost influence on his son, how many albums exactly did MJ release? How many tours has he played? If I count it right (and I`m no MJ-fan, so please correct me), he has released 5 albums in the past 26 years (the "best off" releases and compilations not included). That doesn`t exactly qualify as hard work, since his tour appearances where rare as well.

Since MJ's skin is somewhat synthetic, the beauty has been gratered off ..

I just googled it up, to be on the safe side. MJ has released a total of 11 solo albums in his career. 7 of them since 1979, including "History". So I was pretty close with my guess.

1972

May
Got To Be There

1972
December
Ben

1973
July
Music and Me

1975
March
Forever Michael

1979
August
Off The Wall

1982
December
Thriller

1987
September
Bad

1991
December
Dangerous

1995
June
HiStory (Past, Present, Future)

1997
May
Blood On The Dancefloor

2001
October
Invincible

11 solo albums in a space of 33 years doesn`t really stand for a hard working artist.. more for an artist who records when the previous album has been milked.

Now let`s have a look at the first 33 years of album releases of the hardest working man in showbusiness, Mr James Brown:

1959
