Are you Kid A or Amnesiac person?

I get stuck between the two.. cause i love them both dearly...

Kid A came first.. although Amnesiac is the same age.. since they were from the same sessions..

Kid A has the atmosphere sound.. a concept and a damn fine sound

Amnesiac is like an art collage

which one u dig?

its a tough one for me..

i think of 'em both as one big double album, really. there's ok computer and hail to the thief and then the two in between. i don't really count the live album, it doesn't do a lot for me.

Me either.. I give him props for having the balls to release a raw album though.. his voice cracks and a lot of errors in the tracks..

most artists wouldnt release things like that...

Kid A. It's the only one of their albums I like.

Both albums have great openers.. I'd say Kid A has the best.. but that beat on paked like sardeen cans or whatever is excellent..

It was always Kid A, but I just gave Amnesiac a listen after a long time. I think the tables might have turned!

Its blatantly KID A that album is on the same level as Ok Computer.

I prefer Amnesiac overall to Kid A, but my favorite track on either album is "Everything In Its Right Place".

But I also think that those two albums, plus some b-sides, are really part of the same "project". I've been thinking for awhile of putting them together in a different sequence for my personal listening - - which would definitely include the excellent "Kinetic", and the longer version of "Life in a Glass House".

Kid A

It has this lonely, cold, futuristic sound that's really depressing and effective. It's pretty brilliant.

Amnesiac is kind of like Kid A watered down slightly.

OK Computer is still their best album though. That album's perfect.

Amnesiac. Maybe it's my potential ADD but Kid A is just too fucking boring to be anything classic.

Kid A is boring? I remember the first time I heard that I was walking home, in the rain around 2:00 a.m. back from my girlfriend's house and listening to it on headphones. It blew me away. That band has never released a bad album. Amnesiac was great too. Hard question.

Kid A. Amnesiac was a side release for a reason, even though it's still quite stellar. Hell, it's Radiohead.

Kid A, because it's so concise and well edited. Everything fits together perfectly on it. I always thought of Amnesiac as a left-overs album

I think Amnesiac is a pretty important album.. simply because of the quality of the album.. Radiohead made it clear it wasn't a "left over" album.. just because it was songs that didnt fit with the original tracklisting.. and I can easily see why.. they sound like two seperate times, although it was the same time.. It also seems like RH likes to pull these songs out a lot on their tours.. but I do agree.. If it was a choice... Kid A came first in my book.. and Kid A brought out a whole new musical taste with me..

and btw- ever heard Knives Out on a played in a classical way on a piano?

its breathtaking..

I dig both of them. I think it's pretty interesting that they were completed at the same trime, but each to seems to have its own sort of homogenic sound.

I like Radiohead, I saw a concert of theirs on cable tv a month or so ago. I want it on CD! I can't remember the name or the exact venue but it was in France. Awesome show!

All the way. Amnesiac, as similar in style to Kid, took me a while to get into but it's fantastic just the same. Plus it has pyramid on it, which is one of their most amazing songs ever mushy
