she was so old she only accepted shillings and pence said she could tell me a story or two about the late Sir Walter Scott. i said "no, the honourable sir Cloudbuster" and than she said "you'll have to give me a bit longer on the story of Cloudbuster because that happened even long before Mary Shelly asked me to proofread her manuscript for Frankenstein and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

I finally got hold of the Yokohama concert of the Bad tour. i didn't realise, but the performance of Heartbreak Hotel on the video 'The Legend Continues' is that exact performance, mixed in with some audience shots and some audience yelps. Anyway, awesome gig.

I thought the Heartbreak Hotel performance on The Legend Continues was from a US concert? It says where it is on the video, I just haven’t seen it for ages.

Well if it says that, it's either lying, or the Yokohama show i have has the US performance of Heartbreak Hotel on it for some reason.

aaah - i tell you what... i haven't watched the legend continues for a while either, but thinking about it, from memory, the audience shots which are interspersed with the live concert footage are hardly shots of a japanese audience, are they? So maybe it's a mixture of both - the yokohama live performance and the footage of fans in the US... Which makes one want to ask MJ what the problem was with using footage of the Japanese fans...

I remember on the performance of Heartbreak Hotel on the Legend Continues, the footage of the audience at one point includes a girl who's obviously fainted being taken over the barriers to be carried away to safety. Good point!

He shut the whole the airport down. They were going crazy in the streets. The crwod in the shows were subdued, but when he jumps on the fence in the osaka show I think, mfer's are going wild. Wish he'd do an album without any help... just him.
I just found out he didn't write "Human Nature". Very disappointing!

Japanese concerts are great for live albums because the screaming and cheering is kept to a minimum. It doesn't work as well visually because it takes away from trying to put yourself in the excitement of the show.

I wish they'd show that clip of 'Bad' with the fence jumping more often... and please, no more fans going wild videos. Do we have to be subjected to another 'Brace Yourself'? That was brilliant seeing it in 1993, but sticking it on 2/3 more official video releases is taking the biscuit. [Edited 9/28/05 10:57am]

I can't believe they used them for the 30th Anniversary special. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off
