Kanye might get pushed out of there soon. New discs by Sheryl Crow, Neil Young, Toni Braxton and others are likely to hit the top ten next week.

I don't think a new album by Toni Braxton is going to do much in the way of pushing somebody out of the top 10.

I wouldn't bet on it...I heard dude is about to release the song with Maroon 5 as his next single...That shit is going to get so much run on MTV and VH1 (and of course BET) that if you wasn't sick of him, you will be...Also the Pepsi campaign is about to kick off, from what I've read (using the same song)..That album is going to be in the top ten for a while...But Gretchen Wilson will have the no. 1 album next week...

That goes too far even for my sense of warped humour. That's The Rasmus.

Coheed and Cambria's Good Apollo... is a suprisingly good album. Of course quality isnt based on chart position, but its good to see these guys getting this kind of attention.

I forgot about those other releases. Gretchen is deinfately favorted to debut at number one. What about Neil YOung? I wouldn't judge based on his last album...keep in mind this is a return to the "Harvest" sound. Should be good for a decent debut.

That's not so bad...I don't think there were real hopes of automatically repeating the success of that first album. She might have staying power.

Well expect Mariah to back in the Top 10 soon, I mean she was in there for 5 months, no one has done that in a Long time, not with todays artists. But MARIAH is reissuing MIMI with bonus tracks and possibly a DVD, her next single is "Dont Forget about Us" its already getting Huge play. Honestly DEF JAM has picked the WORST songs off this Cd for singles, sure We Belong Together was huge, but anyone can hit with a ballad, the other two tracks were awful. A better choice would have been Be Mine or even Get Your Number, which is the single in Europe and also will have a Europe Only Video, which is said to be Mariahs best Video ever (in terms of Hotness)

Yeah but Soundscan is bogus anyway because it only tracks the amount Purchased by Record Stores, not by customers, so if someone ships 1.5 million to a store BOOM they sold a million and a half based on orders from record store chains, however they dont minus out "returns", when a certain amount sits on the shelf and doesnt move. Trust me I work in Music Retail and this goes on all the time.
