Sheena Easton Appreciation Thread

This is an appreciation thread for Sheena Easton. Of course, we all know that Sheena has worked with Prince on the song "U Got the Look" and also appeared in the video. But I was a fan of hers even before that time, this woman is super talented and has a beautiful singing voice. I find that I favor her ballads, including "When He Shines", "For Your Eyes Only", and "You Could Have Been With Me." Show your love. biggrin
RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

She released an album in 2000 titled "Fabulous" that was filled with disco era covers and two new songs. A very good disc. Too bad it was never offically released in America.

At the time dance music wasn't totally dead, so I'm not sure either. Might have sold a few copies here.

that 'fabulous' album was a blatant attempt to appeal to a gay audience...she performed at a gay club in england and bottles of piss were thrown up at her to get her off the stage ! ha ha

And that's where it stops! The line backer athletic build and the big ta ta's ruin the rest of it! smile smile Well, I wouldn't exactly say ruin, never short a date on the weekend.....so what would you call it. Maybe linebacker is harsh...how about full back? running back? ha ha ha smile

Damn. Love her though. I always thought of her as "the model who could sing" for some reason. She seemed like she'd be good at both.
What would Xanadu?

Another Sheena song I like is 'Strut'. Rumor has it that Daryl Hall of Hall and Oates wrote that tune.

Hi Gretch! hug I didn't know Sheena was selling dolls. Hmmm, guess she had to find another way to make money after her singing career kind of went away, which was ashame, since she was so talented.
