Anyone remember Quarterflash? They were a pop band from Portland Oregon that had a few hits in the early 80s.
Lead singer Rindy Ross also played the saxophone. Her husband Marv Ross was also in the group. Their hits included "Harden My Heart", "Find Another Fool" and "Take Me To Heart". "Find Another Fool" was my fave, she sounded like Pat Benatar on that one.

Everyone knows "Harden My Heart" but don't always know it was by Quarterflash.

I saw them open for someone back in the day, but I cannot remember who the headliner was.
I remember two things about this band: 1. Harden My Heart, and 2. In an interview, when asked to explain the band's name, the guitarist said that the band was three quarters substance and one quarter flash. I remember thinking that they were bad at math. a psychotic is someone who just figured out what's going on

What ever happend to them? They would have been a perfect candidate for this summer's "Hit Me Baby One More Time" chance-for-a-comeback show.
