PrintableI saw the video for Rev Run's new single and I was not impressed. First of all -- what's with the yelling? Can we get past the 1984 "King of Rock" era vocals and do something that suits his age? Number two -- the attire. He looks like he's playing dress up for Halloween. I don't think anyone will take him serious. That track sounds like a "Down W/the King" outtake and that was over 10 years ago. Nobody bought that from Run DMC then and no one will buy that from Rev Run today. Like Hammer before him, there comes that time when you just have to cut it loose and move on to something better, like cultivating some fresh talent or helping to clean up the crap that is the music industry today. Well Be did collect some addresses about 6 months ago (mine included), saying that he is on no timetable, but when he feels like it, he will send out a few copies to some folks. I seriously doubt that he'll ever SELL it again tho. I am patiently waiting for mine,  Keep your headphones on. | |

I tried my best round the org to get people to buy it, cause I figured it was only for a short time.. I did countless threads about it.. so hopefully they helped at that paticular time.. [Edited 9/26/05 15:09pm] | |
