Here's a "Firecracker" to wake y'all's dead asses up. Alright now, once again the org has gotten kinda dead so I'm putting a "Firecracker" under your asses to wake y'all up. This was a 1979 jam by Mass Production that had all the asses shaking well into 1980. Anybody feeling this jam? Andy is a four letter word. | |

Anyone remember "Turn Up The Music" by Mass Production a few years later? That was a serious jam also that wasn't played much.

Funny, when I quickly glanced at the thread title, I thought you were talking about the ballad by the band Tease.
Then I thought, "How would that wake anybody up?" Until I realized the Tease tune was called Firestarter. 
What a drag it is getting old.

Yeah Mass Production is one of my favorite funk bands, In The Purest Form is a tight album all around with Firecracker being the highlight. I got they're first five albums,Here's some of my other favs by MASS:

I've loved that song so much since I was a young child!! It comes in at a close second to my #1 funk cut "Slide". "Love You", which is right after "Firecracker" on the album, is probably my favorite "funk ballad". | |
