John Legend - A legend in the making? I went to see John Legend in concert last weekend and was very impressed. His showmanship was excellent and what a voice! A great Pianist as well. It all made for a great concert.
Just 2 muppets sat in front of me who spoilt it! never stopped talking all the way through it. Damn annoying. Wanted to lamp them. Plus when they sparked up in a non smoking theatre I was livid! There was a nice surprise at the end though. When we were leaving the apollo in Manchester they played If I was your Girlfriend. Just shows class knows class!!!!! http://www.myspace.com/savage1999uk

Hell no.
Whats so special about him? "ordinary people" was yet another stevie wonder clone.

Nope. His music's painfully ordinary. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

i don't know why people hate so much on John Legend...maybe because he is associated with Kanye, and you know what that means from the Kanye haters on here...but yes I think John Legend is very talented. He's a lot more of real R&B out here in the industry now days and his music doesn't sound like everybody else's drum machine with weak voices to cover them with weak topics. I hope to hear a lot from him in the future and not to just disappear like D'Angelo did. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Hey, D'Angelo is in the studio recording now. So that means that he should deliver an album by 2010.

i totally agree with u. i think alot of orgers problems is, is more with this generation then with a specific artist. i think that they lump john in there with everything else thats out now, just because most mainstream stuff is shit. that AND i think they dont wanna hardly give anyone new a REAL chance, bcuz people they consider talentd arent gettin recognition. Yesterday is dead...tomorrow hasnt arrived yet....i have just ONE day...
...And i'm gonna be groovy in it!
