The Chronic vs. Doggystyle Which is better?  (almost a freudian slip)

Murder Was The Case is the best track from both

Who remembers this Out-Of-Print song? It only appears on first-generation pressings of Doggystyle. Later 1993 pressings and the 2001 remaster don't include it. | |

The Chronic has my vote because of the production, with him establishing his patented G-funk sound and what I really like about it is that it was like one of rap's first concept albums. I played this record all tha time in 92. Dre couldn't have done it any better, whether it was rapping or producing the album. Some of the best songs are F*uck Wit Dre Day, Lil Ghetto Boy, Let Me Ride, Deez Nuts, and possibly one of greatest hip-hop songs of the entire 90's decade, Nuthin But A G Thang. Even though I like the sequel, Chronic 2001 better, the original Chronic album build the foundation of not only G-Funk, but the way Deathrow Records were going to present themselves in the future. No matter how controversial it was back in 92, it still is a classic. I really didn't get into Snoop's Doggystyle album,though. Check me out and add me on:

I prefer Doggystyle, its more clean up and glossy then the chronic, plus there was only one sub par track on Doggy..

Well, you do have a point. Snoop defnitely has a better flow than Dre hands down. Basically, Dre's strong suit is making/producing bomb ass cuts and thats it. | |
