these are the only two proper "albums" i'm playing regularly right now...

otherwise, i've been getting into throwing my mp3 player into shuffle mode and listening to whatever fate and technology has in store for me. that, and i've been listening to a lot of bowie bootleggage that has fallen my way of late. drool

i'd typically even agree with you on that, only sufjan is a new(ish) artist from the states who's really worth hearing for a change.

In all honestly, anxiety might like the nik Kershaw record I posted.

Lyrically it ain't pop at all. PLus its quite sombre production wise, with lovely instrumentation. Seriously neutral

As for holly johnson? Maybe, its carnival sounding pop circa 1989 (shock). Hollys very gay, but I like it cool

i'd probably dig on the holly johnson album, though i can't help but think trevor horn was the only thing that made him interesting.

Holly works with dan hartman on "blast" (which is why I like it proberly), lyrically, hes a bit random, and his long notes do get irritating after a while lol

Do u know nik kershaw, as paligap does, and ironically no brit orgers seem to know him at all (he is a brit).

Its not commercial really, which is why it bombed I presume lol

World Party - Goodbye Jumbo

The Fall - Complete Peel Sessions box set

Wire - Pink Flag/Chairs Missing/154 box set

Venetian Snares - Winnipeg is a Frozen Shithole

The Fall - Perverted by Language

Haven't heard that one yet - I like World Wont Stop and Overcome by Happiness and (Scud Mountain Boys) Massachusetts an awful lot. Are you enjoying it?

(yes, I had to look up Massachusetts to make sure my spelling was correct)
