Jamiroquai ROCK Live!!!

I saw Jamiroquai in Glasgow last night!!!

They were fucking amazing!!

Any other Orgers there? Or at the Birmingham gig?

Exceeded all the expectations Ive had for the last 4 years, during which Ive

waited impatiently to see them. The band were so tight, everyone was great, and

Jay was quite the showman!

Very, very good night.

What was the setlist like? Did they perform alot of songs from the new album?

speaking of Jamiroquai...I just received the maxi-CD of "Seven Days In Sunny June".It contains three remixes plus the single edit. They even sent me a free fold-out poster too.

How did "Seven Days In Sunny June" sound in a live setting? That song is becoming my favorite Jamiroquai song music

I noticed that all the older ones they jazzed up a little, basically it didnt sound like the record, even if the change was only very minor. But the new songs all sounded exactly like the record. No complaints! The backing singers, 3 chunky (sorry) soulful black women, very good, did themselves proud on that one, if you listen to the song it does have quite a bit for them.

You are going to have the BEST time, because these children do not disappoint- I've seen them in both Europe and at home in the U.S., and they are SO TIGHT!!! My bet is that you will spend most of the show on your feet dancing;years ago at one of their shows in South Florida, I SWEAR TO GOD PEOPLE WERE IN THE AISLES doing old skool dances like "THE BUMP" lol lol lol !!! I also remembered that at one point Jay-K ran backstage to wheel out a big ole trash can of drinks on ice that he threw to the audience to cool 'em off- because he was hot onstage and figured that the audience was just as hot if not hotter than the band was. It was hilarious! Folks were getting their soda pop on courtesy of Jamiroquai, lol!!!

"Synkronized [Work, 1999]
Hoping to prepare for future outbreaks of rhythm pap by discovering what put these London clotheshorses over, I found but two clues: acid jazz and Heatwave. Both of these apply only in Britannia. How the band secured its Grammy I defy Fredric Dannen to determine. C-"

Did they dance like Napoleon to "Canned Heat"?

'Cause your friends don't dance, and if they don't dance... well, they're no friends of mine.

Napoleon was getting down. I pretty sure they were digging all the new fans that have come aboard since the film.

eek - GUYS, I just found out that that they're coming to Hamburg Germany on the 18th! I'm so retarded I actually thought they came here on Sept. 1st! I remember being all pissed because I had to go to an art exibition from my agent (which I really didn't wanna see any darned way) on that night, but I was doing a job in Dusseldorf and I saw the ads that didn't even place them in the country until NEXT WEEK lol ! Came home to H'Burg to find lo and behold, on the 18th I'm still gonna be able to get my groove on, hehehe..... cool ! Provided I'm not too tipsy on that nite maybe I can provide a concert report to confirm whether you'll get your money's worth wink
