pretty sure that is the song "dare" from their new album. they have some pretty tight and semi-funky stuff IMO.

The remix for their 1st single was alright. It was overly Funky but euro-popish.

Gorillaz rock.

you wont be dissapointed.

The track with Dennis Hopper is just awesome.
Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
woot!

The new one is definitely a bit weirder. Singles are poppier, but other stuff like the Dennis Hopper track is really out there. I love it all.

yeah, the first album is more of a nonstop dance party, and the new one is a little more herky-jerky with experimental stuff...but both are definitely funky.

nod The current single isn't cutting. However, the remixes from the last album were decent.

Demon Days is wonderful throughout. Check out "Dirty Harry", "DARE" and, to a lesser extent, "Kids With Guns" and "O Green World" for the funk....

Album of 2005 for me if you don't count Annie.

Me and my mate were one of the first ever people to see the first gorillaz video ("clint eastwood"). It was in the middle of the night and me and my mate could not believe our eyes. We were "wtf is this" and thought it was very cool and obscure.

Then everyone liked it.

I am more fond of the "G-Sides" album...it's perfect!

Every normal band or artist should follow the example and released a compilation like this wink

Two that I know of, but don't ask me the names of them. They are a band that I want to check out. I like the two that I had a chance to hear.

I love a band that makes one album and THEN a compilation. Of course it's sitting on my CD shelf, though!

They're fighting it out or the #1 spot in the UK this week with Oasis, so it's Blur (well, Damon Albarn) vs. Oasis again almost exactly 10 years on.

I remember that. (Just)

Yeah, uk singles chart really was a battle then. But now confused

At least "road to amarillo" crossed all age barriers. And is something the straight laced US chart would never get.
