Co-Sign. Too many people bash genre music they don't even like. All music is not going to be screaming guitars. I like Coldplay but, I don't want to listen to that all of the time. Soul and Funk are my main things and I don't spend to much time trashing rock groups since I am not totally into it but, that does not stop rock fans from putting in their 2 cents.

That said, Van Hunt's album just dropped last year, he'll probalby drop another one next year. Dude played at the restaurant I work at here in Atlanta last summer, just him and another guitarist and was BAD.ASS. And I thought this before I bought the album. You should go check him out! I guess that constitutes a dick ride so....

At least all of the artists mentioned brings or did bring something different to music at a time when all you hear on the radio is club songs/sex songs. And truthfully even when so-called neo soul artists are out, it seems like they are not marketed and supported like other singers and radio doesn't always embrace unique and new things. How much do you actually hear Jill Scott, Erykah Badu, Raphael Sadiqq, or Jaguar Wright?

i think ppl think they all sit with their guitars, wearing knit caps and dread locs singing some sad ass songs....

its so obivious ppl don't really listen to this music.....
