Liberian Girl is gorgeous. I'd love to see that sung live. He did for one Bad tour concert when he broke into it and wished Liz Taylor Happy Birthday.

It's an okay song, but it's not a highlight."Liberian Girl" is a much better song. I respectfully disagree. I think I Just Can't Stop Loving You is one of the few genuine highlights on Bad.

"The dog gone girl is mine" It feels SO self aware of its innocence and cuteness. Can't stand it. MJ + Paul = bad songs [Edited 9/1/05 2:55am] But even this song was somewhat influential.A few years after it came out,two female vocalists that I can't recall (Linda Ronstadt and Tammy Wynette? Kim Carnes and Barbara Mandrill? It was somebody like that) recorded a duet where they were fighting over the same man.And of course,in 1998,Brandy and Monica recorded "The Boy Is Mine". Right, but influence doesn't concern me. I care that it's Disney sounding ear poison to my ears. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

Come on...it's totally harmless...just a breezy pop song.I would take that song over ANYTHING that is currently in the Top 40 right now.

I just can't stand it. It's so corny and lame.
I'd take it over just about anything in the top 40 too, but that's not a compliment. The world is a comedy for those who think and a tragedy for those who feel.

Which MJ/Paul McCartney duet do you prefer: "The Girl Is Mine" or "Say,Say,Say"? Never heard 'The Man'... I'd DEFINITELY go with 'Say, Say, Say'. Even if the production is a little dated, anything's better than 'The Girl Is Mine'.

I'd take The Lady In My Life over Thriller, Baby Be Mine and P.Y.T. in a heartbeat. The Girl Is Mine ain't so great, tho'. I'll grant you that. Are you the blonde one? More than likely I'd be the one falling. Feel free to join in the Prince Album Poll 2018! Let'a celebrate his legacy by counting down the most beloved Prince albums, as decided by you!

Which MJ/Paul McCartney duet do you prefer: "The Girl Is Mine" or "Say,Say,Say"? Really don't like either but the music is better in the latter so I'll choose that one... but then I have to contend w/ the images from the video in my mind... On another note, why were their pics so fucking stupid?

And the b-side was 'Ode To A Koala Bear'

I was just in Virgin Megastore out at ONTARIO MILLS tonight and they were playing a MJ concert DVD. Maybe it was pre-BAD but the stuff on that thang was bangin'! All the flatscreens were jammin' it! Folks was all stoppin' and lookin' up!
Mike went weird sometime after the release of BAD. Betta recognize he was a bad mofo! Oh, I must've counted off a bunch of songs from OFF THE WALLand THRILLER than copped some Rick James' grooves. No really nothin' new cuz Q says he told Lois Johnson to cop "Give To Me" for Thriller. but "Workin' Day & Night" had me hummin' "Ghetto Life". test

The only commercially released concert other than Dangerous Bucharest is the 1975 Mexico concert from J5 on VHS sometime in the early 80s I have it, but it's rather rare. Anything else is a bootleg, so I don't see how a Virgin Megastore would be playing it on their screens.
