I dunno, I just don't see the reason for all the hype behind her, besides her dancing skills. she's a weak singer, she's cute, but not extraordinarily beautiful (IMO) her songs are good to dance to but it's mainly beats, rappers and MAYBE her singing a few lines lol. i think she's just riding this "princess of crunk" thing out. what do you all think?

The songs are OK, if a little generic. She's a great dancer too, but she's channeling Aaliyah quite obviously.

I don't like that snarl she has in the videos. She's really pretty on the odd occasion that she raises a smile, so what's the Elvis style lip thing about? There are other ways to give a bit of attitude.

Her songs are one reason why I don't listen to the radio anymore

Weak,thin-as-air vocals on top of midtempo hip/hop/R&B programmed beats and grooves....with a guest rapper on every other song.So predictable and boring.

at first i tried to not like her.but when she performs i can see that fire in here that very few artist has. it was that jackson-like thing goin when mike or janet when they perform.

I'm not a big fan of Ciara's. A pretty face is a dime a dozen, she needs to free Aaliyah's captive soul, and her "music" is as manufactured and forgettable as anything out there. I guarantee no one will be singing any of her stuff in, say, 5-6 years.

She's potentially sexy, if kinda she-male spooky; but she tries too hard... like wearing high-slung thongs under low-riding jeans.
