so..a friend of mines told me that david bowie's music video DJ off the album lodger was the first music video that almost got banned but didn't get banned,and the reason was becuase of the scene when bowie's walking past people and guy comes out and kisses him in the cheek and then in the lips..and walks away..now i have seen the video..i wanna know if what he told was true or not..

i'm sure it very well could have been true, though i've never heard any stories to confirm it. i do know that there was a big hubbub over the 'china girl' video because there's a scene where they're rolling around doing the dirty on the beach, and you can see a bit of bowie butt.
