Alanis Morissette - Jagged Little Pill (acoustic version) anyone heard it yet? How is it? I love the original so I can't wait to hear it... |

moderatorI bought it. It's actually really, really enjoyable. 
With all the rage and over-the-top heavy orchestrations from the original gone, you can really concentrate on the lyrics and melodies. Alanis can get a bit pretentious sometimes (mostly on her stuff subsequent to Jagged Little Pill), but this latest project reminds me she's actually a better song writer than I often give her credit for. I like it. I actually forgot how much I liked songs like "All I Really Want" until I heard them again acoustically.
The bonus track, "In Your House" or whatever, is creepy as hell though. All good things they say never last... | |
