Buying Sly's "There's a Riot Goin' On" Where ONLINE should I purchase the CD? On the US amazon.com, reviewers have frequently complained of the sound quality, and I've heard of another amazon or online store where you can purchase it and the sound is superior. I don't think there's a remastered version of it. I'd get it wherever it's cheapest.
It's got weird production. But the music's weird, too, so maybe it's appropriate. I was a bit surprised when I first heard it, as it's nothing like what came before or after it. It takes a little time to get into. Check this song out at:

There's one I've been checking out since last year. It's the Millenium Pop version of the album, so I really don't know if this has different packaging or better sound quality unlike the domestic version of the record, It's an import for $13 bucks. Check out the two reviews to make sure you're getting better sound quality.
