I heard on a local radio station that Metallica is opening for them in SF.....at an outdoor ballpark.....in November.

i can't see metallica having the humility to open for anyone these days.

it is certainly an odd combination.

As much as I can like Metallica, that's a combination that I wouldn't like to see.

I scored some tickets for one of my clients a few weeks ago. She is in her mid-50's. I suppose it will be an educational experience for her.

The hotdog vendor outside just told me that Mick & Keith (and some hangers-on) were having coffee around the corner yesterday morning. He reports that Keith looks a million-years-old and has "very small hands". eek

A certain Ms. Stymie. We haven't seen a show together in forever, and I thought she'd dig Beck.

It was last week. They've rehearsed for their past four tours here and they always do an announced-the-night-before club show towards the end of their stay.

It's like having seen Prince at Bataclan, Tivoli and Paradiso; big venues don't cut it after such an experience.
